- Walking, bags and caddies
- Every course is walking only. No carts, no exceptions. Bring a carry bag with a stand, under 25 lbs — anything heavier gets swapped out at the shop. Request caddies ahead of the trip. One caddie usually carries two bags and caddies stay with you the whole visit. Caddie services: (541) 347-5909.
- What to carry in cash
- The caddie fee is $125 per bag per round, paid directly to the caddie. Plan on $50 a bag on top as a tip — call it $175 per man per round, so roughly $700 in cash for the four full rounds. Shorty’s takes no caddies. The golf shop will charge caddie cash to your room if you would rather not fly with it.
- Where to eat late
- McKee’s Pub serves dinner 4:00–11:00 pm and is walk-in only. Pacific Grill runs 5:00–10:00, Trails End 5:00–9:00, both taking reservations up to six months out. The Sheep Ranch clubhouse is quick-serve and shuts once the last group passes the turn — it is a lunch stop, not a dinner. Individual billing is available for groups of 12 or fewer, so you just qualify.
- Weather
- Coastal June. Fog burning off late morning, 55 to 65, wind up in the afternoon. Bring rain gear whatever the forecast says.
- Daylight
- Rooms
- Six Lily Pond doubles, two to a room, all booked under Jack Barone. In 4:00 pm Thu 6/10, out 11:00 am Sun 6/13 — three nights only. $510 a night, so $9,180 in room charges before tax and fees. Deposit of $7,560 is already down. Confirmations R131750.1 through R131750.6. Sunday night is not booked and the trip runs through Monday: six more rooms, about $3,060.
- Change deadline
